I bought a new car recently and took my old car in to part exchange with the main dealer, the price to change cars was £10,000. Need to sell my car paid me the same price that the main dealer had offered and this enabled me to arrange a cash deal for my new car (i.e. without a part exchange) now costing £9,500 to change, and thus need to sell my car saved me £500. They collected the car on the Friday morning and as I wasn’t collecting my new car until the afternoon they gave me £25 to catch a taxi to the main dealer.
